Interact with women in legal arena in Philadelphia including Deputy Police Commissioner Patricia Georgio-Fox  at a reception and panel discussion on February 26, 2008.  

The League and the Law Annual Program: Women in the Law will feature a panel of women involved in the legal system who will provide insight into:

  •  general career issues pertaining to their life and the law
  • balancing personal and professional priorities
  • overcoming obstacles

Panelists will also discuss important issues and trends in the law. 

Program Schedule

  • Informal networking with light refreshments - 5:15pm to 6:00pm. 
  • Panel - 6:00pm to 7:30pm
  • Audience Q&A - 7:30pm to 8:00pm.

The League of Women Voters, a non-partisan and non-profit organization, works at all levels of American government acting on behalf of particular legislation and providing balanced information about all candidates for political office. The organization's name, like its mission, derives from the proud legacy of the women's suffrage movement. Today's members are women and men; any citizen aged 18 or older can join.
